B.TECH. (MARINE) –
DEGREE COURSE ( Four Year Course):
This
4 years degree courses duly approved by Director General of Shipping,
Govt. of India and / or approved by University. The Academy imparts
comprehensive training in Marine Engineering and shipboard practice.
B.Sc (NAUTICAL
SCIENCE) - DEGREE COURSE (Three Year Course):
This
course will lead the candidates to become the Captain of the ship.
Captain of the ship is also referred as Master mariner. On successful
completion of this pre-sea training, the candidates are eligible to
become nautical Deck Cadets on board a ship. The leading international
shipping companies are regularly conducting campus interviews at our
Academy for the job placement.
B. Sc. NAUTICAL
SCIENCE - (Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS))
This
training provides a School (X+II) / ('A' Level) leaver sure path to
become a qualified Deck Officer.The training at Academy will
familiarizing the candidate with various aspects in workshop comprising
of carpentry, plumbing, machine shop, electrical shop and hot - work.
DIPLOMA
MECHANICAL ENGINEER (U.K.MCA):
This
course imparts comprehensive training in Marine Engineering and
Shipboard Practice.It Comprises of academics and ship familiarization
along with Marine Workshop training (as per IMO modules) done at
academy.
General Purpose
Rating COURSE to be come a SEAMAN:
The
above program is approved by Director Genera of Shipping, Govt. of
India. The design of the course is as per the guidelines laid down by
the directorate. The 6 month training at Academy familiarizes the
aspirant with various aspects in workshop comprising of Carpentry,
plumbing, Machine Shop, Electrical shop and Hot – work. On successful
completion of the 6 months Pre – Sea Training.

1. DECK CADET (AUSTRALIA
PROGRAM) AMSA (DIPLOMA IN TRANSPORT & DISTRIBUTION IInd MATES
(Foreign Going) Deck Cadet Program):
Deck
Cadet Program has been designed specifically as an industry
introductory program for new entrants training to be Deck officers. The
program has been approved by Challenger TAFE, WA Maritime Training
Center, Fremantle, and Government of Western Australia and seeks to
provide an on and off-the-job study, resulting in diploma and advanced
diploma as second Mates, and leading to Masters.
2. DECK CADET
(NEW ZEALAND PROGRAMME):
Courses
is accredited by Maritime New Zealand and conducted, under a
collaborative agreement between "Institute of Maritime Education &
Training Pvt. Ltd, Australia & New Zealand Maritime School." The
Certification acquired under these Courses is accepted globally.
3. GRADUATE
MECHANICAL ENGINEER (Approved By New Zealand Maritime School):
This
5 months Pre-Sea course at the Academy imparts comprehensive training
in Marine Engineering and Shipboard Practice. It Comprises of academics
and ship familiarization along with Marine Workshop training (as per
IMO modules) done at academy.

Our Selection Procedure
PHOENIX
MARITIME SERVICES PVT.LTD undertakes Aptitude, IQ, Reasoning and
Psychometric tests followed by an interview, based on the priorities of
the specific courses. The final section only takes place after medical
check-up through our panel Doctors (Approved by Director General of
Shipping, Govt of India).
